Born in Montevideo, Uruguay, circa 1977, Diego started his career as an illustrator in the mid-1990’s, after studying Graphic Design at the Universidad del Pacifico in CHILE, and Computer Typesetting and Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC.

Considered a true “Jack of All Trades” by many in the field, his extreme artistic range has brought him to draw everything, from educational children’s books and comic-books to advertising and fashion, to familiar licensed properties such as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Transformers, Astroboy, and GI Joe.

Diego’s ever growing clients list includes companies like Simon & Schuster Publishing, Titan Magazines, Mirage Studios, Papercutz Graphic Novels, Kenzer & Co., and many others, while being published in faraway nations from Argentina to the Ukraine!

At present moment Diego finds himself developing a number of projects for IDW Publishing from his home in Santiago, CHILE.
