Born on Oct. 21st, 1977, in Montevideo, Uruguay; Diego Jourdan Pereira moved to Santiago, CHILE, in 1991. Studied Graphic Design in Chile (Universidad del Pacifico) and Computer Typesetting and Design in the USA (NYC's F.I.T), and has been working as an illustrator/cartoonist for over 12 years since, mainly for American clients including Simon & Schuster, IDW Publishing, Nickelodeon, Mirage Studios,Titan Magazines, and Worthwhile Books among many others. Diego has illustrated international properties such as theTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, GI JOE, Transformers Animated,ASTROBOY, Digger & Friends, Ghostbusters, and STAR TREK, while his “Pet Robots” graphic-novel (written and © by Scott Sava) has been recently optioned by DISNEY to be developed into a live-action film. He was accepted as a regular member of the prestigious National Cartoonists Society in January 2009. |  |
